Bringing in the Sheaves stitched in White 14 count aida

I originally designed Bringing in the Sheaves for Victoria Warren using the pre-designed floral border. Although it looked nice, the flowers just did not make sense. Since Victoria wasn't in a rush, I spent more time creating this design with a wheat theme.

I just love how this all came together so nicely as not only was I able to include all three choruses and refrain, but the actual refrain musical score!

This American hymn, written in 1874 by Knowles Shaw, features the principles of reaping and sowing taught by Christ, including phrases like "sowing seeds of kindness" and "labor for the Master."

This is an analogy between harvest time in the fields of grain and the spiritual harvest of souls, to be had as a result of diligent sowing. The harvest time for the Christian is also joyful as it is for the farmer as he sees the fruit of his labors.
